These terms are between you and NiLo S.L. ("we", "us"), and they cover the Poker Coach app. Using the app means accepting them.
What Poker Coach is
A learning app and a utility. It teaches six-handed no-limit hold'em through short multiple-choice drills, and it helps you set up the chips for a home game you host yourself.
What it is not
- It is not gambling. There is no wagering, no prize of value, no purchase and no cash-out. Stakes shown in the app are abstract units used for teaching.
- It does not handle money. The chip counter converts point counts into units for a game you run yourself, with money we never see, hold or move.
- It is not financial advice, and it does not promise you will win anything. Whether you play for money elsewhere, and under what law, is entirely your responsibility.
Your account
- You need an account, and the details you give must be accurate.
- Keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
- One person per account. Do not share it, and do not create an account for someone else.
- You must be at least 18 years old.
- You can delete your account at any time from the You tab — see deleting your account.
Fair use
Do not:
- Try to reach another person's account or data, or work around the checks that keep accounts apart
- Automate, script or otherwise fake progress — hearts, streaks and XP are decided by our server, and an account that games them may be reset or closed
- Attack, overload or probe the service, or try to extract its content in bulk
- Enter anyone else's personal information beyond the first names or nicknames the seat list needs
- Use the app where doing so breaks the law where you are
The content is ours
The lessons, questions, explanations, design and code belong to us or our licensors. You may use them to learn. You may not copy, republish or redistribute them, or use them to build a competing product. The data you enter — your games, your chip case, your seat names — stays yours, and you can take a copy at any time with Export my data.
Availability
We will try to keep the app up and working, but it is provided as it is, without warranty of any kind. Lessons, features and the course itself may change. We may suspend or stop the service, and if we stop it for good we will give reasonable notice so you can export your data first.
Liability
Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. Otherwise, and to the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for lost profit, or for losses at any card table anywhere. The app is a teaching tool; the decisions are yours.
Ending it
You can stop using the app and delete your account whenever you like. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, and where it is reasonable to do so we will say why first.
Changes
These terms may change. The date at the top changes with them, and material changes will be announced in the app before they take effect. Continuing to use the app afterwards means accepting the new version.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of Spain, and its courts have exclusive jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, this does not take away the protection of the mandatory law where you live.
