You can delete your Poker Coach account from inside the app, in about four taps. It takes effect immediately, it takes everything with it, and it cannot be undone.
In the app
- Open Poker Coach and go to the You tab
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account
- Type
DELETEto confirm - Tap Delete account
You are signed out as it completes. There is no waiting period, no confirmation email, and no recovery window.
Take a copy first, if you want one
You → Export my data writes everything below to a readable JSON file and hands it to your share sheet. Once the account is gone there is nothing left to export.
What deletion removes
All of it, permanently:
- Your account — email address, password hash, and any Google sign-in link
- Your profile — display name and avatar
- Your progress — hearts, current and longest streak, XP
- Every answer you have given, and every lesson you have finished
- Your chip case — colours, values and settings
- Every game you have recorded, including seat names, counts and balances
- Everything held on your phone — the cached copy of your progress, any writes still queued for the server, and your sign-in token
Nothing is retained, anonymised or archived for later use. Backups taken before the deletion roll off on their own schedule and are never used to restore a deleted account.
If you cannot reach the app
Lost the phone, or already uninstalled? Write to contact@pokercoach.app from the email address on the account and ask for it to be deleted. Expect a reply within 14 days. You may be asked to confirm from that address — that is the only way to be sure the request comes from the account holder.
What happens to a deleted account's email
Nothing is kept, so the address is free immediately. Signing up again with it creates a new account with no history — the old progress is not recoverable, by you or by anyone.
