Poker Coach teaches six-handed no-limit hold'em and helps you set up the chips for a home game. It keeps what it needs to remember your progress, and nothing else. There is no advertising, no analytics, and nothing is sold or shared for marketing.

What is stored, and why
Everything below is held against your account so the app can show you the same progress on your next launch. The list is exhaustive — it is the same set of tables the in-app export returns, and there is no other store.

Seat names are about other people
When you record a home game you can type a name for each seat. Those are other people's names, entered by you, and they are stored with your games. Use first names or nicknames — the app never needs anyone's full identity, and nobody but you can read them.
What is not collected
- No analytics and no tracking. The app contains no analytics SDK, no advertising SDK and no crash-reporting service. Nothing follows you between apps or across the web.
- No location. No GPS, no IP-based location lookup.
- No contacts, photos, microphone or camera. None are requested.
- No payment details. There is nothing to buy.
- No real money and no gambling. Stakes in the app are abstract units. No wagering of any kind takes place and there is nothing to cash out.
- These web pages collect nothing. They load no fonts, scripts, cookies or third-party resources of any kind. Your host's ordinary server logs are the only record that you visited.
Who else processes it
These are the only third parties involved, and each is doing a job the app needs:

Your data is not sold, rented, or shared for advertising. It is disclosed otherwise only if the law requires it.
What stays on your phone
Your sign-in token is kept in the operating system's secure storage. A copy of your hearts, streak and progress is cached so the app can draw something on a cold start before the server answers, and lessons you finish without a connection wait in a queue on the device until it comes back. All of it is erased when you log out or delete your account, and none of it is readable by other apps.
How long it is kept
Until you delete your account. There is no separate retention period and no archive: the deletion described below removes the rows themselves rather than flagging them as hidden. Backups taken before a deletion roll off on their own schedule.
Your rights
If you are in the UK or the EU, the GDPR gives you rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability. Two of them are built into the app so you do not have to ask anyone:
Take a copy — You → Export my data
Writes every one of the tables above to a JSON file and hands it to your share sheet. It is indented so a person can read it, not only a machine.
Delete everything — You → Delete account
Removes the account and every row attached to it, immediately, with no recovery. See the deletion page for exactly what goes.
For anything else — rectification, restriction, objection, or a complaint — write to contact@pokercoach.app. You also have the right to complain to your national data protection authority.
Our lawful bases
- Performing our contract with you for your account, your progress and your saved games: without them there is no app to provide.
- Legitimate interests for keeping the service secure and working — rate limits, and the checks that stop one account reading another's data.
Children
Poker Coach is not intended for children under 18, and accounts should not be created for them. It teaches a card game played for stakes, and the age rating on the store listing reflects that. If you believe a child has created an account, write to contact@pokercoach.app and it will be deleted.
Where your data is handled
Data is stored in the European Union. Where a processor moves personal data outside the UK or the EEA, it does so under the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that affects you, the date at the top changes and the app will say so before the change takes effect.
